Choosing “Chill and Go” as the name was a purposeful decision, mainly inspired by my roots in Mexico City and the desire to craft a clever english wordplay of “Chilango” , “Chiles” and “Chicago”.

This name seamlessly intertwines with the salsa macha we offer, weaving in the essence of chiles that are a significant part of my culinary heritage. Simultaneously, it pays tribute to Chicago, (where I have settled), merging the dynamic spirit of the city with the laid-back vibes by the phrase.

Embracing a philosophy of taking a moment to unwind and then forging ahead it's not just a name; it's a lifestyle that encourages savoring the now, while being energetically attuned to the rhythm of the world around us, it's a journey that bridges the gap between tradition, innovation, and the vibrant energy of Mexico and Chicago.
